I love Polaroids, and B&W film production is also ceasing from many companies:( It's becoming a digital camera world.

If anything... I think film will somehow survive, if the recent resurgence of vinyl records is any indication.

I hope film survives, to shoot on film requires actual skill. Some of my best shots are on medium format B&W film. Film creates a character all its own that digitals can never replace or capture. I hope you are right that retro-gear usage will be cool someday:)
