They have a booth in an out of the way corner of the bar, with dinner and wine and even a candle.

It's been a while since Wes has done this whole date thing, but he remembers how it works. Mostly. Although this doesn't mean he's not still a little awkward.

He smiles at Inyri ruefully, then says in a very self-aware manner, "So, how was your day?"

Inyri smiles back, chewing on her bottom lip for a moment. "Quiet. For the most part. Yours?"

This is a bit awkward, but it beats them just staring at each other boredly.

"Uh." He rubs at his cheek, then shrugs and picks up his fork again. "Same. Except for the singing kid."

"The singing kid?" She raises her eyebrows, and picks up her own fork as well, taking a bite of her food.

He grins a little, amused.

"The singing kid," he confirms. "He likes to sing! He wasn't too bad, but he wasn't quiet, either."
