what's your favourite table top game?

something about me: i actually hate settlers of catan, but end up playing it quite frequently since everybody else seems to love it so much ;___;

ha ha, we do play different games as well, it's just that catan gets brought out a LOT bc everyone tends to know how to play it already, i think? plus, i tend to get catan fatigue bc some of the expansions can make it take over 4 hours or w/e to finish a game vs, say, 1 hour for a different game, so even if we play catan say... 1/4 times, the games last so much longer that i feel like i'm playing catan more.

i'm REALLY casual when it comes to tabletop gaming though, so my favourites are betrayal at the house on the hill and cards against humanity (with the right crowd), maybe.

My favorite I think is Betrayal at the House on the Hill, though it is closely followed up by Arkham Horror. Both are horror based games, but Betrayal is not the massive time investment that Arkham is.

Usually Catan gets too vicious with people in my circle so I back out of it.

A tabletop game convention sounds pretty cool :)

My brother and his friends wanted to go to that one. He had mentioned it before. That's all he plays now, table top games that is.

It's kind of what me and my friends do to kill the time. Some people talk sports and watch games. We play games and then talk about them.

I've been wanting to get into tabletop games, but just haven't. There is a really good gaming store here that does a monthly beer and pizza night with free games.

I like them and have made a lot of friends through just playing games. It's a bit of an odd culture, but I like it.

They really are expensive. That's often times why I end up playing the role-playing games instead because often times you can get pdfs for free or for very cheap and then get unlimited use out of them.
