Okay so I love the character of Charles Xavier, aka Professor X. Some people want to be like Superman or Batman when they grow up, or they set more realistic goals for themselves. charles is one of my favourites, too! not a person i aspire to be like just bc there's just something almost too otherworldly for him, but he's a great character - so admirable, and yet entertaining.

I think that's part of what makes me want to aspire to that height. I set my sights on something otherworldly or so big that I probably will never achieve it that way I always keep striving forward. Heh. Perhaps that is why I hold so few people that I actually try to aspire to be like, and even fewer real people than characters.

That makes sense, and is admirable in and of itself! I wish I had the capacity to make the imaginative leap. I've never really been one to have role models at all, come to think of it.

He's definitely one of the most admirable of the comic book characters - I would want to be like him too more than someone like Batman or Superman.
