Loki's playing tricks again

So I saw Thor 2. Techincally I saw it on Thursday when it first came out in my area, but this has been a lot of working 12 hour shifts for me so I have not had the energy to post anything up. Slowly I will catch up with other people's posts.

Yes, I reckon Loki has hidden Odin in some dungeon as well.

The thing I didn't like is that they didn't expand on the science enough. I know there's only so much they can fit in 100 minutes, but it was a bit blah how they went "here, use these magic sticks, they should do the trick". I wish they had explained a bit more how it worked (even if they used a super duper baloney explanation).

But other than that, yes, Loki, soooo hilarious and witty! There were so many Loki fans in the theatre I was in. A lot of "Noooos" when he *died*.

I am pleased too they kept Jane on board. I heard a while back that Natalie Portman didn't want to do the sequel, but that Marvel forced her to abide by her contract...

The way I see it, it would have taken away from the action of the scene to explain it more right then. Maybe some of the scenes with Eric could have explained his research more rather than making him into a punchline though.

Have seen it twice so far and loved it! (On the second go thru I saw the jets made it back.)

That kind of disappoints me, actually. Heh. Part of me liked having a crazy head canon where these two normal fighter pilots were now stuck in another world to deal with the dwarves.
