"When I thought I fought this war alone, you were there by my side"

Read Thor today. I really like the post-Ragnarok plot line that started. I like the idea that it just resulted in the death of the gods, not the whole world...at least at first. The opening scenes really caught me.

Odin is the biggest asshole in Marvel comics, which is why Thor didn't want to bring him back. Unlike the movie, Thor and Odin have a very very antagonistic relationship in the comics. Thor and Loki probably get along better than Thor and Odin lol. In fact, the most recent Thor arc (latest issue was out last week) deals with magical nightmares, and it turns out that Thor's greatest fear is actually Odin.

...so yeah, comics!Odin = bad news for Thor, basically. I am not entirely sure why it's gotten to be that way, because I haven't read far enough back. But even when you see Odin dealing with others, he's just the biggest dick in history. Comic fans pretty much hate him lol.

Keep reading, heheh...nothing is as it seems with Loki. This arc of the comics is really where Loki gets to shine. He is definitely the God of Mischief here...

I guess I need to read more of Odin in the Thor comics then to understand that more. I just assumed that he would behave like an ass because he was stuck in the past and bitter that the world would end.

If everything was as it seems with Loki I would be quite disappointed.
