Event Post 21 - Cliffside Angst

*The sun is setting over the island and Juudai can be seen sat on part of a cliff, just down the dirt road from Osiris Red. It's sunset by this time and the sky is a beautiful mix of orange, red and yellow. Juudai watches the calm ocean in front of him for a while before looking down at his deck that he has fanned out in his hands

*A Johan approaches! Ruby is on his shoulder and he seems to be smiling, but his body language seems to scream discontent and worry. OHAI YUBEL!*

*Juudai does the same with Hane Kuriboh. The fluffball also looks quite miffed and occasionally shoots angry glares at Ruby, but otherwise stays still*

You couldn't be more right with that.

*Card Excluder looks at Juudai and Johan with a finger on her bottom lip, looking a little confused*

Do they always do that?

...Unfortunately.

*Johan is looking down at Ruby, rather disappointed with her behavior. Ruby refuses to meet his gaze, instead either looking out toward the sea or occasionally at Hane Kuriboh to make sure HK doesn't try anything funny.*

Yeah... I don't even understand why they don't like each other. You'd think they'd get along but...
...hopefully one day they'll learn to be friends.

I'm amazed Ayumi's slept through all of this.

*Johan looks dismayed.* ...I hope so.

She's probably a heavy sleeper... is she? *He turns his head to look at Ayumi, still leaning against his shoulder, fast asleep.*

Well, she has slept through a lot of stuff before....

I guess so, then.

*Johan is silent for a moment, feeling Ayumi's even, peaceful breathing, with the wind playing with his hair occasionally. He is apparently trying to think of other things to talk about.*

So... Juudai, how are you and Asuka doing? I haven't heard you say anything about it lately... you're still together, aren't you?

*Juudai looks at Johan and smiles*

Oh, we are! We are! I just haven't gotten to see much of her recently. You know, with being busy with the classwork and stuff. She's busy with her own stuff too. I think we really need to find the time to see each other. *Juudai's smile turns a little sad, he kinda misses her.*

*Is that a looming shadow? Yep, that's DEFINITELY an ominous looming shadow.*

JUUUUUUDAAAAAAAAIIIIIII-KUUUUUUUUN!

*... complete with an ominous thundercrack at that. Despite the sky being perfectly clear.*

Huhwha? What's going on?!

*Johan blinks, jerking at the sudden crash of thunder... wow, such special effects!*

*Aaaaand Fubuki immediately plops down next to them like nothing happened.*
