Not really. The California prison system, and the nation's system as a whole, is ridiculously overcrowded. From what I know, she's have to keep reporting to the jail until a spot opened for her, or the sentence was appealed and dropped.
She got a good deal being placed on house arrest, yeah, but did you really think she'd actually spend a few months in the slammer? Half the celebrities with recent DUIs on their records and worse (I vaguely remember Brandy getting out of a manslaughter charge when she hit a kid/mother/someone of the female persuasion with her car) got a slap on the wrist.

Yeah, I almsot forgot about Brandy..due to the sweeping under the rug. But most recent news on this Paris story is that due to the fact she was released by the sheriff and not the judge, she might be going back in. Oh man, wouldn't it be a good/sad story if the sheriff took a bribe?
