They are super adorable, even if I can't really get behind Ebs or Hallsy? Like, I dunno. I'm not into them yet.

Hallsy is totally weird looking, and I say this as someone who has written porn about the dude. Ebs is really noticeably growing into his jawline though!

Have you seen the amazing interview in which Hallsy lays out his plan to live with Ebs until Ebs gets married and leaves him? They are the most amazingly codependent all the time; it is NUTS.

Are you watching all of Oil Change? Because it is a glorious mess of people saying baffling things about the Oilers and pretending that they're not kind of terrible, and it's super enjoyable, if you don't take it seriously at all. :D (Warning: it will make you ship ALL THE THINGS. )

LOLOL BOYS, WHAT. I haven't seen that one yet, but I have a giant list of their interviews I'm planning on marathoning until my heart explodes. JUST, HOW ARE THEY ACTUALLY REALLY REAL. They're just terrible at being adults, and at being separate entities, and it makes me love them so much more.

I think I will watch Oil Change, once I get through the million other hockey vids I have lined up. I love getting to know all the side characters from fics as actual, ridiculous people. How are they all so endearingly ridiculous.

:DDDD That sounds like an excellent plan, Hallsy gives GREAT interview (largely because he is super shitty at having filters, lol.)

Oil Change is fun, though I suppose I should warn you that at least 60% of it is a narrator trying to persuade you that the Oilers' shitty record is an awesome narrative of success. It's great for team stuff though, and there are a few moments of sheer shippy gold.

I'm glad you understand what I'm going through. I'm reading all these fics and coming across a lot of the same details, and I'm thinking, 'wow, there's a lot of really well established fanon for these guys.' BUT LOL, NOPE, IT'S ALL REAL LIFE, WHAT EVEN. Ice cream dates? REAL. Connected recliners? REAL. RIDICULOUS CODEPENDENCE? 1000% REAL.

There was that vid where they asked a couple teammates trivia questions about Ebs, and the other guys failed pretty epically, BUT HALLSY GOT LIKE 90% SPOT ON, without evening having to think about it. UUUUUUUUUUUGH.

...sorry, all these feelings need an outlet.

I don't know if I could ship it romantically, but I am all on board for Halls/Ebs/Whits epic brofests. I mean, he's from goddamn Scituate, there's no possible way I'm NOT gonna love him. And being the poor adult who has to look after those 2 ridiculous puppies. Yeah. I want him in every fic, in some capacity.
