I worked late tonight, and I completely forgot the Pens were even playing. So I was COMPLETELY UNPREPARED TO COME HOME AND HEAR THAT GENO WAS INJURED TONIGHTD: D: D: D

It was even worse to watch the game because it was a HORRIBLE hit, and they kept replaying it while the announcers said chipper things about either how well Neal was doing despite Geno not being there, or tragic things like "Neal, playing without his centerman," and kept freaking me out about the possibility that Geno would do something completely stupid like come back during the game (which he did not, because apparently at least one team in this fucking league is doing something right.)

They've practically confirmed that he's concussed this morning, and I am so fucking worried right now. :(((((((

Eeep, concussions. My husband was concerned with him too - that is really not good. I wish I had time to go to a hockey game - granted, the Avs are NOT doing well right now.
