tonight I got peer pressured into going to a birthday get together for one of my supervisors at a local bar. I never go to these things, so I let them guilt me into it this once, and then I remembered why I don't go to parties. It was noisy and I couldn't drink because I wanted to drive myself home soon, and I couldn't hear anyone, so I just ended

I share your (alleged) social awkwardness! I loathe parties and frankly I think a lot of folks do. Maybe that's why a lot of folks drink? *ponders*
