Hello, I am sorry, but you must have missed the source at the end of the post.
I didnt write it, it is just a quote about fandom which I found on tumblr and which I wanted to share with you, because I really like it (I didnt found any way how to send it from tumblr to LJ, so I had to copy+paste it, but I included the source, too!).

I made the source more visible for others, so I hope other people wont misunderstood.

The summary of fandom is that like every thing it has good and bad side, it is full of opposite things (for example it makes you creative in Photoshop, Sony Vegas, Word and interact with people on internet, but you have to sacrifice your sleep and time for job/school and it could also have bad impact on your real life relationships). It also differs depending on the point of view... Simply it is up to you and fate what fandom gives you and takes from you...

It depends on you how you see fandom, but I think you could say that in the end the fandom (that has many cons a pros) is a place, where you found yourself and where you are kinda happy. :)

Yeah, I am home already. I guess I forgot to write a post that I came back to my home country, because many people keep asking me, if I am still in Japan. XD I returned to my home country at the end of August.
