My family knows how to hold a birthday dinner.

It was a pleasant sort of meal with the Scotts and Acacia, featuring a juicy pepper steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and liberally salted green beans. Then desert rolled around, for which I had requested pie. A play-by-play of what happened would look something like this:
