*smiles nervously* Well.. I suppose now all we can do is wait for their reactions. *twists fingers* Th-they'll... be ok with it, right? I know I'm not exactly what everyone had in mind for the girl you'd wind up marrying. *begins to pace, muttering under her breath*

Typist: Where ARE you?? I'm in the chat. Waiting. I honestly don't know how much longer I can stay up. My body is begging me to sleep, but Elphie wants to talk to Mark.

*watches her and laughs softly* Don't be so worried, Elphie! They'll be fit to burst with excitement. Honest they will.

Typist: *sobs* I'm sorry - I was parental'd around 12:30...was planning on pretending to go to sleep and getting back on, but I really DID fall asleep.

On the other hand, I got a wonderful night's sleep.

*bites lip* But... but... *throws hands up in the air* This is so nerve-wracking! I don't know what I'll do if they wind up disapproving. *nervously chews on nails*

Typist: Ugh... Figures that the one night I had freedom to stay up as late as I wanted...

I totally understand (it's happened to me enough, as you are well aware), but Elphie was way upset. She wouldn't let me go to sleep until like 1 AM.

I'll try again tonight.

*stands up and wraps his arms around her from behind, whispering in her ear* It'll be fine. I promise, Elphie...they're my friends. They'll be happy for me. For US.

Typist: Well, it was sorta my fault I got parental'd...was turning on a playlist, and had my headphones plugged into the wrong jack...so it blasted for a few seconds until I could get it turned off.

It won't happen again. *nods* I WILL be on tonight.
