It's official. My friend Dan, the one who was diagnosed with MS back in November, is finally in remission. He hasn't had a new symptom flare up in two months, and his Neurologist says that they can now focus on prevention and general health. I have been very anxious for about 6 months now. Ok, I learned something new. I had no idea that MS could go into remission. I thought it was one of those diseases that once you had it, you had it for life. Good for him though, it's a horrible disease.

Remission is the term that gets used with MS, but what it really means is asymptomatic. It's not like he doesn't have MS anymore, but there is no way to know if he'll ever have another flare up. It's an extremely strange diseas.

I'm just so grateful for the reprieve in the stress for now. I'll worry about the future later. =)
