My mom used to have a couple of mimosa trees, I LOVED them but they were such a mess! Loved them anyway, though.

these are little bitty flowers with fronds that grow on the ground, I know what tree you are talking about, I love them but we don't plant one because of the mess

Yep, it's really a Hawaiian plant, zone 10- we bring them in, (we have seven) we bring in the avocado and the hoya

I love your daylilies. The only ones I have are orange and I really don't like them very much, but they were my grandmother's so I'm going to try to keep them alive; I dug them up off the bank of the branch after she died just before we sold the property.
