2008 was not a good year in my life for reading of real, hardcopy books (fanfic doesn't count). This was due to a mix of extreme busyness and to my undecided housing situation, which meant my entire personal library was packed away in cardboard boxes from April onward. Hey miss, sorry I missed saying goodbye at Festival - I kinda hit a wall and needed to take myself away and sleep it off. It wasn't until Maeve told me that I realised we must have just missed each other.

No worries - I understand, and was headed that direction myself, hence the leaving. I'll be down again at the end of June (for A and G's wedding): can we make a time to catch up properly then? Festival is kind of wierd that way - it was great seeing everyone, but I didn't really get to *talk* to anyone properly, and I missed talking at all to several people who I know were definitely there.

I am also v. peeved that I chose Friday/Saturday over Saturday/Sunday given the Laurelling on Sunday afternoon! I'd have loved to be there for that... do you know if anyone got photos?

Deense got a few if Bethan's, and myself and a few others tried to get some of Honeydeath's but the light was just too poor and we were reluctant to use a flash (even though I did a few times - naughty me - but it didn't seem to make much difference).
We'll definitely catch up when you're down again in June. I don't think you'd be able to avoid it. ;)
