My sister and I just took a drive down the street he got hit on. It's the most direct route to the shops.

On the way back, she said "oh god don't tell me not this close to home". I "what the hell?"-d at her. She did a u-turn, and parked.

Her headlights were shining on what I hope to God was an oil patch in the middle of the road near skid marks.

I told her it was a crushed soft drink can and made her turn back around.

That location is a five-minute walk directly around the corner from my house. I don't think I can walk down that street anymore.
