He is not in the Library, which seems uncommonly odd.

I don't know, he went out drinking with Cain last week, maybe he's just off expanding his horizons again.

This is true and thus a possibility, but I did not see him yesterday, either. It strikes me as quite unlike him to be away two days without a word. He is the only man I have met who loves the Library more than I do.

...Of course, I have been called a pessimist previously; it is possible that I have simply come to an incorrect conclusion.
