Don't worry, it's not as bad as it seems.  I'll try to sum it up quickly.

• thought i had meningitis so went to the ER
• had only a MILD fever, SMALL headache, MILDLY-high white blood cell count, but stiff neck and history of meningitis.... so they decided to take a spinal tap
• most spinal taps are only max 3 samples of 1-2 ml. of fluid from

yesterday really sucked for me, i dont know exactly why. I was in traffic for an hour and a half trying to get there, coulnt find the way in, firetrucks hurt my ears as I was trying to, and I made it up as you got in the elevator. makes me realy regret not coming earlier... I was in a funny mood for the rest of the evening. I might have been feeling guilty for not making it earlier, or I might have been just exhausted from everything...

my health is starting to eat at me in odd ways... nothing like what you just went through/are going though, but I'm starting to think I've got to do something about it. Though, given the above, a visit to a doctor I dont know may not be the answer. I think I STILL have whatever gave me the sore throat, cus it comes back at random times and hovers just below where I might bother to do something about it...
meh.

seriously though, I think I caught something at the hospital cause i have this persistent mild/moderate sore throat that won't go away now... ugh. right when the weather gets nice (of course). so let me know when you want to file the malpractice suit, i have some lawyer friends with handlebar moustaches (j/k). seriously glad that you're out of the H and feeling like yourself again.
