There's lots of pretty, pretty ones ...

Hallo Leute!

Today has been a random day. Weird random dreams that involved ... Ummm ... Barbecue flavoured Crisps And a school in Nottingham that looked like the Conquest Hospital and was in fact by the sea ... in Nottingham. And other stuff too. >_<

Then I was totally and utterly convinced that it was Wednesday and that because I woke up at 1.30 ( Read more... )

sociability, walks, weirdness, ottakars, caffeine, manga, cg, randonimity, drawings

Good luck with the manga evening! Remember, you can always look in through the windows before you go in ;)

Oh, but a way to print mind pictures'd be awesome! If I ever develop a technology like that, I'll let you know straight away ;) (The chances, however, are slim)

Late night walks are fun. Shall we explore the Green by night next week? Could be a lot of fun ^_^.

Wow, what an awesome picture! I *love* the shiny rippling effect you've done on the hair! That rocks! Her body is drawn awesomely well as well, but I can't figure out what's going on... She seems to be saying "shhhh", and facially looks happy about it, but her body language seems to say that she's uncomfortable.... Maybe I'm just wrong, but that's how it seems to me.... But overall it rocks ^_^.

Heh unfortunately due to the layout of the shop it won't be that easy. *Sighs* Still I can easily run away if needsbe. >_<

Yup yup. You had better or I shall be most upset.

That could well be fun. We shall see shan't we?

Hmmm ... Thats very interesting and very helpful critique. I thank you muchly for it. *Cuddles you* ^_^

The pose ... Well ... *Tries to tihnk how to explain* Apart from just seeming like a good pose to draw, do you think a person can't have a defensive stance even when perfectly happy? As a subconscious thing y'know? I suggest watching me (however difficult that might be) because I think (although I'm not certain) that you'll see my body movements veer towards the defensive/secretive etc even if I am among friends. I wasn't trying to tell a story, merely depict a character. I was trying to get across personality, although I think you've raised a very good point. I should think more about things like that.

Ack. Good luck!

As if I wouldn't ;)

I think it'd be awesome ^_^. I hardly know the Green, except the route to Brunel, obviously... And nights are so lovely!

Um. No reason why somebody can't do that, it's just her face said to me that she was talking to her lover, for some reason... I'm not sure why, but it just seemed that way to me. The defensive arm said that she wasn't, so I was kinda confused... You do have quite a fair amount of defensive posture, but when you're among friends you tend to drop it a fair amount.... Hmm...I shall have to watch you more... ^_~
Surely a character is a story? I see your point most definately, but even little things like a smile or a tilt of the head can tell a story...
Glad that my commentary was useful ^_^.

It's been very useful and again I thank you. Whatever the picture says to you is wonderful, I'm glad you can read into it. I didn't draw it with that scenario in mind but I can certainly see it that way. I could also explain why she has a defensive stance if that was the case ... Although maybe this is being silly. >_<

Yes I would imagine I'd drop it quite a bit. *Tired grin* Friends have a tendency to help as far as that's concerned. ^_^

"Surely a character is a story" If you snippet a single moment of their life, then although you can tell the story of that moment, leading up to, including and beyond that moment, that moment is ... well just a moment. It'll (hopefully) tell you something of the moment, the person, the context, although as we've proved before we don't always see the same picture in my pictures ne? ^^

Sorry if this is incoherent or sounds really defensive or something else equally silly, my head is paining me rather at present.

My school in Nottingham was by the river...

I lol at the Lily-bringing. I wouldn't worry...true anime fans are generally nice people.

Mental pictures, I know how you mean...but late walks are better for Pett than Wollaton or Englefield Green. Windsor Great Park at night would be terrifying.

Oh really, not the sea then? I am, as we say, amazed. *Smiles a little* My waking geography did in fact tell me that the sea was likely to be some little way a way from you. Also that you didn't attend school in your holidays and take drama, have a huge recreation ground on the side of a cliff where you decided that hanging upside down on the climbing frame with your hair in pigtails was the greatest past time and was even better than the internet, find that we had irritated some important organisation by ignoring the fire alarm and been chased off the side of a cliff and later when back at the school discovered they had planted a bomb in your classroom, or live next to a girl I used to be friends with at school (well this is possible but somewhat unlikely I feel) who had married and lived with Brian (even more unlikely ...)

You would probably be suprised to know, just how many things I've tried to get involoved in only to find out that I'm above the general age group. >< Hence I am somewhat phobic of it happening again ( ... )
