I love the name Rafaela, for one. For two, this took a turn I didn't expect! Good suspenseful writing here.

Thanks! I went through a lot of work to surprise the audience, and I am really glad it worked out.

Rafaela means "Angel" (according to some--according to others it means "God heals"), which is why I picked it for her.

Gotta love those Looney Tunes references! But that's what a prom is for! Still, Rafaela can't buy a break although at least she got a little fun out of it.

I think I'm most disappointed in Eric. He seemed like the perfect guy for a rebellious teen like Rafaela, but he turned out to be just another supernatural being with his own agenda.

Haha-- "not the worst time she'd ever had"-- what an ending!

Still, she got all dressed up and beautiful for her date, and he turned the entire thing into a spectacle. Not intentionally, at first, but afterward? All his choice from there on out.

I don't think a trickster spirit or god will ever let someone else trick them and get away with it, which leads me to assume that that thing between Eric and Anik is still going on to this day.

This girl just cannot catch a break! Fast-paced and comical. I particularly liked this - If blushing were a sound, Rafaela would have deafened the room.

Fun stuff!

Thanks! Don't worry about Rafaela, though. She settles down with a nice guy when she makes it to her thirties. A nice human guy with no background in magic.

Ah! This was fun! From the pre-prom jitters to the slow dance to Lady in Red, I had a smile on my face.
