Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Standing next to Shingen, Yukimura will appear to be pretty short, but Shingen is no ordinary old man so let's just say Yukimura's of average height for a guy. He's thin, but definitely built, considering he swings two spears around like they're nothing, and tends to end up on a battlefield on a regular basis.
2. How old is he?
He's 17, and been in more battles than you could shake a spear or two at.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He is very formal and perpetually polite, what's your guess?
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Yukimura is fit as a fiddle. He's probably a little TOO healthy for a guy who's constantly getting punched by a GIGANTIC OLD GUY WHO PRETENDS HE ISN'T BALD.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He's a spear-user, so he's really quick on his feet. That said, I suppose he's rather graceful.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Yukimura isn't exactly what one would deem drop dead gorgeous. His attractive qualities extend from his ability to be the most adorable derp in the world. That's not to say he's physically repulsive or anything though. He is definitely cute, but that's about as far as he gets considering his personality.
He doesn't really care for his appearance, otherwise.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He's shirtless and generally out and about, so he's probably tanned. Throw in the fact that he's a soldier, and he's also got a few scars to show for his battles.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
It's a typical brown, and though the games make his hair look incredibly fluffy, I actually think it's more... shall we say... 'rough'? His hair is short for the most part and extends from his head in random spikes. What sets him apart, and adds over 9000 points to his moe factor is the fact that he has a ponytail that reaches his lower back. It's not a puffy ponytail (like Keiji), it's thin and wispy and d'awww.
9. What color are his eyes?
They're an ashy brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Perhaps the hachimaki, the Rokusenmon necklace and his race-car-flame pants lmao.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Uh? Being away from Shingen? Idk.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Being Sengoku Basara's Red Oni, Yukimura is dressed primarily in red. Red jacket, red hachimaki, red flames on his pants, red leg armour, red tabi etc. If it wasn't for his shoes, his default costume would actually be rather modern, and so not exactly reminiscent of 16th century Japan. Don't let his outfit fool you.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
Guy doesn't wear a shirt, but the sleeves of his jacket are very tight on his arms. Pretty much everything on him is form fitting, save for his pants which are baggy, and probably there only to emphasise the shape of his torso. Considering that he fights in this clothing, it's likely easy to move in.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
In the anime, he's always shown in his default outfit.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
A fundoshi. I probably don't need to tell you that it's red.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
It's... pretty deep, and given how much he yells, it can get a liiiitle bit hoarse. He is very, very hot-blooded, so it's expected.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He is moderately loud, and lord forbid he starts talking when he's excited or agitated. As a soldier, he tends to only speak when he is spoken to, unless he is announcing his arrival on a battlefield etc. Generally though, he's a curious boy, so he'll ask questions about things that intrigue him.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
In the original Japanese version, he speaks in very archaic Japanese, and speaks in a very self-effacing manner. The only person he doesn't do this with is Sasuke.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Only Japanese.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
He drops the polite speech around Sasuke. HE MIGHT EVEN USE 'ORE'. OMG WOW.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
Ehhh, he's a bit dumb and tends to charge in without thinking. He'll try to avoid stepping on any toes in his speech though.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Oh yes. Boy wears his heart on his sleeve. <3 He isn't one to hide things from people; you can generally tell what he's thinking.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Yukimura isn't too smart. He can understand basic tactics, but he'll need somebody to explain anything complicated. Basically, you need to state the obvious with this kid.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
In battle, he is able to think very fast; it'd become natural if you're wielding two spears, given how they're fought with etc. Outside battle though, give him a moment to think things over.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
The end does not justify the means. Yukimura has a very straightforward, basic logic. For example, he fully embraces what Shingen is teaching him, but the idea that the purpose of those teachings are to aid him in his succession of Kai go straight over his head (until the second season OMG SPOILERS!). He isn't thinking about the future; only what he's doing at present.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
It seems to me that Yukimura had lived a rather sheltered life as a child, though the only adverse effect this has had on him is a dulling of his intelligence. He takes Shingen's teachings very, very seriously though, even if he can't remember all of them all the time.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Definitely battle. The only things Yukimura could possibly successfully brag about are his capabilities in battle and his moe, but that isn't what we're here to discuss. He is definitely a very able-bodied warrior, and his desire to succeed and please Shingen drive him to even further heights.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
If left to his own devices, he can be a very curious boy, and given his polite temperament, is easy to talk to. Really, it all comes down to your patience. :P
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Innocent and naive; it's hard to think he was born and raised in such a chaotic era. He can be a very tolerant person, and it takes a very blatant wrong doing to get on his nerves. That said, his definitions of right and wrong are in black and white; usually, there is no middle ground.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
It heavily depends on whether Shingen is with him to guide him or not. In SC's case, he's on his own and coupled with the fact he's some 500 years in the future, he's struggling to keep up with the pace of the new world he's found himself in. The technology and even the food has been giving him a hard time.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React. Kid has the ambition of a shoe.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Honesty is his thing, remember? Depending on the severity of the jokes played on him, he miiiiight get a bit upset at you. YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU, DANTE. :|
But his sense of humor's a biiiit lame, you'll have to excuse him for that.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
I don't suppose derp counts?
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Yukimura became Yukimura as soon as Shingen chose him to succeed Kai. Also see, the moment he met Masamune in canon, if only because the prospect of having a rival enables him to strive for greater strength.
14. What does he fear?
The loss of his beloved master, and hell, even Sasuke, who is likely the closest thing he has to a real friend.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To live and die at Shingen's side. That's all.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Like I said before, he wears his heart on his sleeve. xD
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Not known.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Historically, he does. Anime mentions nothing of them.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Delving into headcanon now, which I still need to think carefully about, so let's just say LOL NOPE for now. :'D
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
First, there is Shingen, the prominent father figure of Yukimura. He teaches the boy by punching him regularly and screaming his name, often both at the same time.
Then there is Sasuke, probably Yukimura's only real friend. In reality, Sasuke is a ninja, the leader of the Sanada Ten Braves, and so is effectively Yukimura's retainer. Despite the difference in status (considering ninja weren't exactly hailed upon back then), Sasuke is very casual with Yukimura and almost brotherly in that he lightly teases the boy sometimes.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Not exactly BFFs, but close enough. Sasuke, as said above, is Yukimura's retainer, and by extension, a vassal of Shingen. I'd go into details, but it's headcanon from here, and I need to go over that. orz
6. Does he have other close friends?
Not really. >_>;;
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
If given the opportunity, he'd be able to make a few here and there.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single. And probably single forever even though I ship Yukimura/Tohru like burning.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Nobodyyyyyy.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
He doesn't know. :c
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He's 17 and will probably be a virgin for another 17 years.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
MASAMUNE-DONOOOOOOOOOO, but their rivalry is built on respect. Dante is also slowly working his way up the hate list, though. XDD
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Straight, so he's sitting at 0 ok. Despite the homolust in the anime, this Yukimura (HIS SPEECH IS BLEEDING INTO MINE LOL?) is totally into girls, he just doesn't know it yet.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He's extremely shy about anything sexual, but otherwise, he'll act pretty normal around females unless they're hitting on him or something. Depending on how forward they are, it'll either go straight over his head, or he'll get real flustered.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
He... doesn't really know just yet, but let's just assume boobs falls under the turn on category? Idk.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
I don't know his birthdate; wiki says nothing.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Shingen is probably his god.........
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
His moral code is something like this: "LISTEN TO OYAKATA-SAMA, LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY"

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
It depends on HOW different. If he feels that different opinion is wrong, he'll attempt to negotiate with you. If push comes to shove, you'll have to take it outside. Take into account his strict definitions of right and wrong here.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Nobody likes a liar. Yukimura is no different.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
COnsidering his status, he's probably rich. :P
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He's virtually second in command of Takeda's forces, though the soldiers would really only listen to Yukimura at Shingen's orders ala season two.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
I assume he lives on an estate sort of thing with Shingen.... other than this I'm not too sure.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Sweets? He loves them after all.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He works for Shingen, basically, and HE'S PRETTY DAMN HAPPY THERE.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He would indulge in simplistic leisures, so flower viewing and the like. While he's definitely drunk sake before, it's not really his thing.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He loves a good meal just about as much as he loves something sweet. As stated directly above, he's not a big drinker, but if someone pours him a cup, he'll down it if only to be polite.
