To Erin: I found out yesterday that a friend of mine who works in video games had a company picnic last week-- the company flew in a real live K-Pop group for the fucking thing. My friend was going off about how "scandalous" the girls were in their baby-girl pink floofy dresses

Are you shitting me??? That's kind of hilarious. XD I kpop girls are getting a lot of flack right now because of their outfits. Do you know the name of the group?

No idea. By the time she was telling me about it, she was pretty plastered and kept blabbering about how insanely inappropriate the outfits were considered back in Korea. My friend works for NCsoft, though. It's possible they have something about it on the website.

That's freaking nifty... I've heard of something like that before. Not sure if it's the same thing but there is a store in New York I believe that's very similar to a "Build-a-Bear" but for muppets. You pick the stuff to personalize them and then you get to take them home..

Target sometimes sells some really cute rain-boot/galoshes!! If they sell them here I don't see why they wouldn't sell them in Seattle.

I've got some rainboots, but they're not good for everyday wear 'cause rainboots tend to make your feet all nasty after a few hours.
