this was very angsty in a pleasant way i guess, because it's not really broken!jongkey~ coz they only get separated for a small period of time.

They promise to webchat whenever their schedules allow, to call, but the company keeps working them, keeps them apart on accident or on purpose.

so from that line i'm gonna guess that SM is behind all of it because they discovered jonghyun and key's relationship. That's why they just put SHINee on hiatus and separated the two by countryBUT IT WILL NEVER SHATTER THEIR LOVE MUAHHAHAHHA

I'm not sure that's what happened with SM and SHINee being on a hiatus, but of course it's possible. ^^ Really, my thoughts as I wrote it were just along the lines of SM being horrible to their artists. It seems like something they would do, make someone leave their band for 6 months to go study overseas. Bah. I really don't like SM very much. ><

ughh, i dont raelly like SM either, but i love their artists, but considering the fact that DBSK's the only band that's made a huge fuss about it, it must be pretty common for these slave contracts in Korea =/

From the way that DBSK was making it sound, it does seem really common. Which just ... Really sucks. I think SM is the worst about it, though. I mean, we're constantly hearing about SM artists being in the hospital because of extreme fatigue. And sure, it happens to other bands, but it's almost constantly happening to SM. I mean, they make great bands, with great music, but it comes at such a price. Those artists work themselves to death. I admire them for it.

Say... Is this inspired by Akanishi's hiatus from KAT-TUN when he went to the US? Because I could never quite forgive Jin for those six months (forgive's not the word, i don't know, look at him the same way again that is, with affection). If this wasn't written with KAT-TUN in mind, then I apologize about the random rambling about JPop bands, but you just wrote the heartbreak of Akame fangirls everywhere, right down to the itty bitty details.

I got so excited when I read this comment because of course I was thinking about Akanishi's hiatus!! I completely drew the time frame and the country from what happened with KAT-TUN. I wasn't sure if anyone reading this would make that connection, though. I'm just not sure how many SHINee fans overlap into KAT-TUN fandom. ^^
