So, when people leave this place they truly do lose all of their memories of it.

I don't know whether to be grateful for that or not.

Is that so? It must be troubling to lose so many cultivated memories. Why, it almost makes one's stay here... pointless, doesn't it?

I do suppose so. Throwing away your memories... is one of the worst things you can ever do to yourself. As I have lost most of mine, I cannot understand why they would choose such a thing. Memories are too high a price to pay just to be able to leave this place.

I'm guessing that a lot of people you know have also been coming and going and haven't remembered you either?

That appears to be the case for most people as far as I know Mister Xehanort.
