[Private to D]

You're getting a job. Unless you have your heart set on something else and you have a damned good reason for it you're coming to work in the Infirmary. I'll let you know your schedule tomorrow, so get any whining about it in now.

[Private to Infirmary Wardens]I'm getting my Inmate a shift in supportive care. His name is D, and he's ( Read more... )

Private - oh mccoy, it's like all his christmases came at once. laws_of_nature February 20 2010, 23:11:48 UTC
Whine, indeed - why would I ever do a thing like that, Doctor? Much of my former career allowed me to soothe human pains, did it not?

Private - ... that's not a comforting response :| hyposprayed February 20 2010, 23:15:56 UTC
Funny, I didn't see a lot of 'soothing' as the outcome a good deal of the time.

D, if you so much as scrape one of my patients with those claws of yours I'll make sure you regret it. We've had this talk before but this is different, the Infirmary is a place of healing and if you decide to bring in more of that 'revenge' of yours you won't like the outcome, understand me?

Private - at least he's not going to molest anyone? laws_of_nature February 20 2010, 23:20:06 UTC
Clear as crystal. Do you often find that your colleagues pay little attention to you, to make you so tiresomely repetitious?

Private - this is very true. That is something to be celebreated hyposprayed February 20 2010, 23:23:16 UTC
You know these quaint little underhanded insults of yours are aren't particularly impressive. And as for my colleagues it's the patients who like to make work as difficult as they can manage. You'll see for yourself soon enough.

[Thank God for lack of voice, then. :|] Yes? [TELL HER SHE ISN'T PREGNANT ALREADY.]

Should I come to the infirmary?

[IT'S HER FAULT SHE JUMPED TO COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE CONCLUSIONS.]

Yes, I'll be in the office.

[THINK ABOUT THAT ONE MORE TIME PLEASE.]

Very well.

[She is there in like 2.3 seconds and knocking at the door God damn it.]

[NO REGRETS.]

[McCoy was there, glaring at one of Nero's scans when the door knock broke him from it. He glanced up sharply, shifting to stand.] Come in.

We're in a prison, kid, what do you think?

So what part of putting him around health care seems like a good idea?

If I thought he was a complete or immediate threat he wouldn't come within ten feet of the patients. Like it or not this is a boat for rehabilitation. Some of the inmates we have working may not be ideal candidates but if their wardens think it'll help with the overall goal then we have no right to turn them away. I'm saying he'll need this to help him along- do you want to question my judgment on my inmate or the safety of the infirmary anymore or are we clear?

I think she may be doing a bit better. I hope anyway.

Then that leads me to my next question- how are you doing? Don't think I haven't noticed these 2am movie nights and their frequency. Have you been sleeping?
