As someone who works for the underwriters of Subaru? One of the more expensive around, but we'll insure pretty much any Subaru (including the WRXs) which most companies will turn down.

Just in case that was your tipping point.

Yeah, the WRX is expensive. Something like 4K from most insurers, if they'll even ofer a policy.

Somehow I've gotten old over the past few years and now fit into 'sensible driver' category. Obviously it's a relative term: I'm sensible compared to how I used to drive... but not in context to other people my own age ;)
