How to make posts to all my various blog and such work from one place so I can effectively have a cool art blog and spread the wealth to my other sites.

RSS feeds are your friend. If you've got a paid LJ acount you can syndicate stuff I think, and you can get LJ to pick up stuff from elsewhere too.
