8 years ago, I lost someone I couldn't replace.

Read about it here.

If you can hear me... How are you? Do you regret leaving us? Do you miss us as much as we miss you? I want to hold you tight... I can still remember how it is like to hold you, how the fabric feel like, how your perfume smells like, how the curls in your hair always amused me. I want to hear your voice. I want to hear you belt ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry, your story is heartbreaking. I'm sorry you had to lose someone so important to you. My mom always used to say that people are only really gone when we forget them, and as long as you remember them and think about all the good ways they impacted your life then they will live on in you. So just keep remembering her, and know that she'll always be with you in that way. <3

How terrible... your story brought tears to my eyes. I'm so sorry her life had to end tragically. I think you're right that it was a moment thing, because it sounds like other than her husband she had a lot of people in her life whom she loved and who loved her. It's so sad when people have to leave us senselessly, but it's good that you got to share so many happy memories, and I'm suer she'd be so happy know that you remember so many great things about her and that you'll remember her forever. You're a good goddaughter.

Yeah.. I don't wanna believe all that "now that she's gone, at least she's not suffering" bullcrap. How shitty life gets, there still are good things/people around to make things even a tad bit better.

You know that feeling you get in your throat before your about to cry, but at the same time you're trying to prevent crying? That's how I felt when I read this. I honestly thought I was going to start balling. I can relate to this story. Something similar has happened to me. I hope that you are gradually growing with her in your dreams and I'm sure she hears you, and she probably misses you as much as you miss her, if not more. She's still here, just believe.
