Channel 5 showed V for Vendetta last night and what irony. A movie about the "usual undesirables" (including PLUs) and how the government uses the media to brainwash the people. And Singapore's cencoreship decides to cut out the entire chunk about Valerie's letter.

When I saw the trailer and there was the part where Valerie and Ruth kissing, I said to my girlfriend "Lesbian scene!"

And when we watched it the night before online, I was like, "Yeah, sure, they're gonna air this."

And they did. Even when it was one of the most important and beautiful scene in the movie!

Yes it is when one of the most important and beautiful scene.
It was very anti-climatic for me. I remember telling my sister to tell me when the part she finds the scroll but

it never came.

That's when i looked at my sister and went

"OLmg they so took it off! WTH"

And Jamal, when are we going to meet up?
:D

Homosexuals, are not "normal" and are not supposed to be "promoted". So they cut it out. Because in the show they speak about freedom but since Singapore only allows "Freedom of Speech". You know? Ha -.-

So since we dont have the freedom to sexuality yet, they have to cut out the whole effing chunk.
