Oh, man. I saw this coming about half-way through (before the thought about small, delicate hands, which just confirmed it for me) but the ending still hurt because I was hoping it wasn't true. There's a bit of me that's hoping for a sequel where the truth comes out and Santana can maybe start to heal, but ...

Not necessarily happy - I think that would be dishonest to the depth of the story, but I definitely think you have the skill to continue this without making it into a Hallmark moment. No-one ever recovers from abuse, not really, but the open wound can turn into a smooth scar. Which I think you could write without over-simplifying it, and I'd be very happy to see you have a go at it!

I loved this fic, in a dark and twisty way. It was something that I had considered as well, her comment meaning something more than just the fact that she was a slut. I was thinking about making a rape fic about it, but I love this scenario as well.
