Jesus this was all so heart-breaking. So often fic is gift wrapped - all the ends are tucked in all nice and neat. But this story has a raw edge of pure angst that is both completely and utterly beautiful to read but also absolutely impossible feel satisfied with. I want more because I want the gift wrap and the neat corners but this reads like real life and nothing is ever that perfect. You are a master of angst. Just thought I should let you know.

Also, if you don't keep writing I think fanon will be lesser for it.

Thank you. Wrapping this thing up neatly would be... hard, mostly due to the fact Finn's emotional state is still all messed up and complicated and I really could not resolve that by story's end in any non-contrived way. Luckily for you, I should keep writing (although I've slowed down a bit lately, for some unknown reason, but hey writing is writing).

I hope that my message didn't sound as if I was unsatisfied with the ending because actually I was satisfied in an "it's-not-want-I-wanted-but-it's-how-it-must-be" sort of way. Anyways, I look forward to reading more of your work. And maybe I'd fare better if it were fluff :)
