I *hate* the smell of altoids and smoke. With a passion. One of the most revolting smells in the world. Smelling it takes me right back to watching Geo die. Awful.

I am that way...not long ago, I caught a whiff of something that smelled like my Grandma Clardy's house (maternal grandma, who died in 2001). I couldn't keep from bawling. Cooking roast and potatoes take me to her house, too. Simmering spaghetti sauce goes to my Grandma Ryan's, and the smell of hazelnut candles reminds me of my mom.

My favorite scents are citrus - fresh orange, lemon, lime...I will take a piece of the peel and sit there smelling it for a long time.

I miss the smell of bookstores (I rarely go in them anymore, unfortunately)...the paper, wooden bookshelves, whatever it is, automatically makes me happy.
