in a text conversation regarding a live conversation I was having with the Honey I referred to myself as a pushy bitch. L replied that I am more vindictive than a bitch. I'm much more ok with being a bitch than being called vindictive. That implies a motive that I feel my bitchiness completely lacks.

Does vindictive imply motive to you?

vindictive is motivated. bitchy is reactionary, but not thought out. you can be bitchy as a habit, but you have to decide to be vindictive.
