oh my god thank you, finally! An Ichigo that's not completely oblivious to feelings! Thank you thank you thank you. He's not 23rd in his grade in canon for nothing.

I like the quiet friendship between these two, and how Ichigo acknowledges Ishida as a friend, but because of jealousy Ishida tries to make it a one sided thing.

I can't wait for the last section of this. Haha, when I saw this, you made me pause the k-drama I was watching just so I could read this asap.

“What?” Ishida sputtered out. “Why on earth would you think that?”

“You like to sew.”

“And?”

“You like to sew girly stuff.”

I LOLed so friggin hard at this, ngl.
I really like how you ended it with them not immediately being bffs, but not being complete strangers either.

One minor thing; they don't refer to each other with "-san".
To each other they're just Ishida and Kurosaki.

I had so much fun writing that bit. Total nod to the yaoi crowd, that was.

And I know that. The fact that they added honorifics to each others name at that point is significant, in that it shows they are becoming more friendly. By the time the sequel you talked me into starts, they'll occasionally call each other by their first name (Ichigo usually does it to irritate Ishida, but sometimes he does it to get his attention when he's fixated on something else).
