Yay, Nel! I love her as a character, and never thought you'd choose her as the guest appearance.

I love where you decided to place this; No huge fights, just a hint of oncoming crisis and the respite of months of hard work (haha he finally had to work for longer than a month for something! Kubo is horrid for pacing, really.) finally paying off. Great choice, bb.

I actually just got roped into writing a sequel to this for au_bigbang, where the crisis does indeed become a reality. I think it'll be a good way to bring Grimmjow in (I love writing him), plus it'll go in a different direction from where I think the manga is headed (instead of SS distrusting Ichigo after the timeskip, as was hinted at when Ichigo heard Rukia, they'll be wary but trustful, and more inclined to allow Karin and Isshin to help). So it'll get possted in August or so, I think. It'll be easier writing two Bleach AU fics of that length than writing one Bleach and one Doctor Who/Criminal Minds/CSI: NY one.

But I'm really glad you liked the series! I love it when people resonante with what I write. And I love Nel to itty bitty bits. She's my favorite Arrancar, even more than Grimmjow.
