Oh, well, this time a little bit different. Don't be too shocked about the subjects and ... this time it's not only Grimm I put my hands on last week ;). Again, challenge at the AfA-Thread, but this time no "usual" art. Instead the challenge was about ... bookmarks!

Those are beautiful! I like bookmarks, but I never use them - if that makes any sense. I normally remember where I was. Or I'm reading straight to the end without ever laying the book aside ;)

Ich weiß nicht warum, aber ich mochte dieses schmale Format schon immer gerne. Früher habe ich sowas aus Pappe gebastelt und Bilder dafür zurechtgeschnitten ;) In der Vor-Cmputer-Zeit. Aber weil ich die Dinger nie in Benutzung nehme, habe ich das schon lange aufgegeben.

It makes sense as I used loong time only a piece of paper to bookmark (or, bad reader, there was a time when I marked the sides themselves). But I've too much books and too much quotes in those to remember them all, besides the researches I don't do online for some backgrounds to my original storys and also fanfics.
Gebastelt hab ich die Dinger nie, nur mal eins von einer sehr, sehr guten Freundin zu Weihnachten geschenkt bekommen, das sie selbst gemacht hatte (und das ich in Ehren halte). Drüber gestolpert sie via Screenart zu machen bin ich vor ein paar Jahren hier bei LJ, vorher reichten mir eigentlich die Werbe-Lesezeichen aus der hiesigen Buchhandlung meines Vertrauens. Seitdem ... mach ich sie mir selbst mit den Motiven, die mir gefallen (oder Freunden, je nachdem).

OMG, you literally had me breathless here for a moment... the bookmarks are beautiful and I'm pretty sure you can guess which one is my favourite... most likely ... awesome work... really, beautiful bookmarks!
