I've never watched it, but congratulations :) Everyone seems to love this show, and it seems to be a new thing to renew shows for 2 instead of just one season :D
Well, a GoT season is always 10 episodes only so it makes kinda sense to me to renew two seasons. It will be quite interesting to see what HBO and the TPTB will do then because George RR Martin, the author of the novels, is still working on novel No. 7 (and he's a very slow writer btw). Maybe this renewal for two seasons means also a little kick for him to inspire him to finish the 7th novel, don't know. Really? I've read a lot of hate about GoT because it's tendenxy to show the tough parts too and goes the hard ways if the novels are going there too (the main character was killed back in season 1, his wife, oldest son and daughter-in-law were killed last season in the so called "Red Wedding"). Some are still keep up saying, GoT would be a pale reduction of the LotR-movies (which I hate). Don't know - I like the show and will finally start to read the novels soon. I'm not in the fandom but I love the show because it's fantasy, but also close to the reality of the middleage.
