Hm... I think I know why I'm not reading the Grimm Novels or haven'T read them yet. I hate it when I just don't really "recognize" the characters whatsoever and it's basically just the names that are used but the books have nothing in common with the show!

That's also a reason I really don't read and like AU Stories! Just not my thing!

The second novel was just released two days ago, or is released in German today, so I guess you haven't heard of them ( ... )

Was Renard also not recognizable? I can't imagine Renard knowing about Kelly and not getting her killed.

For me he wasn't, but he was also the closest from all of them. There was a glimpse of Sasha's Renard visible, but he was way too carrying for Nick, way too much boss, way too open-minded.

Welcome. Well, the novel isn't bad, it's only not Grimm - at least not for me. I've seen other reviews which are praising the novel and Shirley's cleverness. But I have another point of view here.
