Sorry for not really being here today, explanation is following for my friends-list.

Not that much this time, two short articles from The Oregorian. Thanks to GrimmAustralia for the second one, otherwise I surely had missed it (as I'm not that often read this newsletter ;)).

did the portland grimmsters decide not to publicly share their shooting pics and stories because they were annoyed that stuff was showing up on other web sites? really, guys? that seems kind of immature. i get that people might not want their photos to be reposted without permission, but if they are being asked, what's the problem?

if they're trying not to post spoilers, tho, that's a whole other thing.

Thing is, same Grimmsters are spamming Twitter with their photos from the set. When you are posting a pic at Twitter, it's open property for everyone. I mean, I'm asking and I know, also do my partner-sites, and we are also mention the original source when we are using their pics. But I cannot guarantee that Grimmsters, taking pics from my community here, are also mention, and there are lots of people at Twitter, snurching those pics and posting or retweeting them. That's a snowball, and that's why I decided not to post those pics anymore, I only favorize them, so everyone has to come through my account to get them.

I think I'll buy the german version. The good thing is that you can switch on and off the sound or switch to english, so that's something, and I mean, buying them in english means I can give them to my dad to watch and he REALLY likes the show, but unfortunately, never learned english, so...

I also think it sucks that things becamse like this in the fandom :/ But the thing is: I experience time and time again that people just "steal" other people's pictures and anything without credit and such, and that could ALSO be a reason for people to hesitate sharing anything anymore...

I'm still trying to get one or both, US and/or UK as I'm not interested in the German dubbing and the German box is not announced yet.
