Fletcher has been getting press for her contraversial theories, especially since Zahi Hawass disagrees with her vociferously. There may, in fact, be a new possibility for where Nefertiti is, KV63!

wow, i'll read all about it...
casually yesterday i was gifted with a discovery channel dvd about nefertiti and it happened to be about fletcher's voyage and investigation of KV 35. everything about it.
there was zahi hawass saying joan was just dreaming but i actually think, she's whether right or very lucky.
anyway the documentary was quite sensationalist and they spoke about akhenaten as a quite stupid and unbrained guy, which i've not liked at all. i'm loving joan's book and the passion she shows but i think, in a very personal opinion, that she's maybe a little feminist and that can lead her on a wrong way somehow.

I am half way through... It is really good, well the first half is. She says a lot about what she has done and the people she works with rather than Nefertiti herself but, the work that Joanne Fletcher has done is really amazing. Of course, remember I am only half way through...
