I said Mariokart, because it is really fun. But my favorite multiplayer Wii game is actually the Wii MarioParty 8 (I think it's 8, it's the only one on Wii, I think) Anyway, it's a bunch of different board games, each different and fun. It doesn't require everyone to have a remote and you can play with as little or as many as you want. Each game is different and has a lot of competition minigames to win points.
My kids both love it so much that we wore down our first disk and had to get it replaced and pick up a new one.
I said Mario Kart as well. Super Smash Bros is fun (I remember I bought it when Kristi was here and we had fun going through the platform/adventure mode together) but being a fighting game it's more a niche thing I think than a racing game (especially if playing with people who aren't gamers much).
Super Mario Bros Wii! We play the heck out of that thing multiplayer. It's a lot of fun. It seems to hold our attention and interest longer than Mario Kart, which is also fun, but gets repetitive.
My son and I have been playing Wii Sports Resort a lot. For a 4-year-old, he's getting pretty good at it! Now that I have the Wii motion plus, I am looking forward to the next Legend of Zelda game for the Wii, which will use that accessory to wield Link's sword, bow, bombs, grappling hook and other toys. Yay for Link!
