I would think the advice would be "only put things that will fit into your ear into your ear," because if you managed to get something as big as your elbow in there it would REALLY HURT! ;D

I am the queen of hurting my ears by putting things in them. I'm surprised I don't have earing problems. Or maybe I do. WHAT?
