Tis better to give...

I'm talking about presents here, not other stuff, you pervs! (Not that that isn't reflective of my life too, but that's a topic for another post.) I'm not good at accepting gifts or help or anything. Online friendships are a lot stronger than we think sometimes. When I was playing EQ on the Mac, my powercord died and I was going to be unable to play until I replaced it. Several of us got together for brunch and while we were there, someone handed me a powercord they just bought from the Apple store because they wanted me back in the game. I've found in such games, your companions is what makes the monotony bearable. Apparently they feel the same about you.

Yeah. I know some really great people. And I have to say in all my time fixing computers and stuff, you're the first person I've ever heard of that killed the power cord.

well...let's just say my partner was clutsy at the time and snagged my powercord with his feet at least 4 times. Being snatched out of the computer that fast ended up bending the central post and I'd have to bend it back to get it back in. Well the last time it had enough and caught fire. Due to the ensuing drama, he's no longer clutsy around the powercord to my laptop.

Someone being that klutzy around my computer and breaking it would end up finding me being quite klutzy with my bladed weapons around him!
