I agree, but I've never found a drink to replace it. Basically the day I find something I'd like to drink (or a few things I'd like to drink) instead of soda is the day I'll attempt to quit.
But the search for a substitute is on hold, running is most important right now.
I'm thinking when September starts I'll alternate running days with aikido days. I think that will give me a rest and let me push harder on the days I do run.

Willpower isn't something to be taken lightly, it is the stuff of change taxing spirit, mind, and body.
That, and diet wasn't on my list! I'm specifically avoiding dietary changes right now.
So I guess that means, Declined! That'll be a good dare for a later time when I decide to change my diet. ;)

Also, one-day breaks are good, but more than that doesn't really help.
