Everyone's getting so worked up over the idea of a Buffy movie. Particularly one with Joss. There's no actual details on it so I don't see what the fuss is all about. D:
And, as far as I'm aware, they only have the rights to the character of Buffy so the rest of the cast are out of the picture. Literally. :P Joss was a bit of an idiot and sold the rights to her before he made the series. I don't think it would have mattered if Joss was on the project or not, it'd probably be awful either way. >.>
Personally I'm not worked up about it, I'm simply... baffled. :P And I *do* think it's only a question of time before it'll be made - no given info at the moment or not. My 'beef' isn't whether Joss is in the director's seat or not - it's just the idea of taking a series that's been running for seven years, and... trying to fit all the canon we have into a movie? :-o
