chapter fourteen
The rays of the morning sun filtered through the windows as it bathed two bodies in it's soft glow. Jaejoong snuggled comfortably against Yunho's side, a smile decorating his lips, head cocooned at the crook of Yunho's neck as he lazily drew circles on his chest. He looked up into the other's closed eyelids, feeling his heart about to burst with so much love for the other man.
"Yunho-yah." Jaejoong murmured quietly, placing a soft kiss on his lips. "I love you so much." Brushing the stray strand of hair gently, he added. "I'd do anything to protect you and make you happy. So promise me that you won't ever leave alright?"
The arm draped around his waist tightened, followed by a pair of almond eyes fluttering open. Yunho gazed down at him, a smile making its way into his face as he pulled him closer to his body, inhaling the scent that was distinctively Jaejoong.
"Oh." Jaejoong said against the other's chest. "I'm sorry, did I wake you?"
Fingers began caressing his naked back. "It's okay." Yunho muttered, entwining his legs with Jaejoong's own under the covers.
"Mhm." Jaejoong hummed, heat rising in his cheeks from the feel of their lower bodies pressed flush. "Did you sleep well?"
"Very much." Yunho pulled back an inch and tilted Jaejoong's chin before kissing him deeply. "You were amazing."
Jaejoong giggled. "I was wasn't I?" He brushed Yunho's cheek lovingly, eyes filled with love. "Last night was perfect."
Yunho held his gaze as he smiled. "I will never forget what we did for as long as I live."
"Yeah... me too baby."
"I love you Jaejoongie." Yunho whispered, the words spoken with so much intimacy and meaning. "So much."
The flutters in his stomach and the warmth in his heart with the innocent declaration came instantly. Hearing Yunho say such words to him, with the way he looks into his eyes like he was baring his soul, no words could describe how it made Jaejoong feel.
"I love you too. Always." Jaejoong replied softly, giving him a chaste kiss. Yunho snuggled closer, his eyes drifting shut.
The languor of sleep called out to him. Jaejoong would have really preferred to stay there forever cuddled in Yunho's arms but the reminder that Yoochun might be going PMS now because he was missing his very treasured breakfast for the reason that he was still lying in bed with Yunho, was beginning to relentlessly pound at the back of his mind. "Yunho-yah. Are you hungry?"
"Not really." Yunho said, pressing their bodies closer. "I like it better here."
Jaejoong let out a sigh. Staying in bed the whole day with Yunho was too tempting but alas, Yoochun wouldn't let his ears have a moment of silence if he didn't get his ass up and went to the apartment. "We should get back home hmm? I'll cook breakfast."
This time, Yunho's stomach seemed to agree as it grumbled. "Oh..." Yunho opened his eyes. "I am hungry."
Jaejoong chuckled and pinched his cheek. "Seriously, you're so adorable! Come on up, I'll cook your favorite kimbibap today."
Yunho's eyes instantly sparkled. So much like a child's. "Really?"
"Uhuh." Jaejoong nodded, disentangling himself from Yunho's embrace and sat upright. He yawned and stretched his arms.
"Thank you." Yunho said as he rubbed at his middle, sitting up. "I haven't had anything but milk since last night."
"Ei?" Jaejoong blinked. "Milk?" Last time he checked they ran out of milk in the fridge just the other day because of Yunho never leaving it alone until the last drop. And there sure wasn't any milk served in the club either. "When did you have milk?"
Yunho tilted his head, the picture of perfect innocence. "I was drinking Jaejoongie's milk the whole night remember?"
Jaejoong blinked, then blinked again.
It didn't take long before he erupted into a giggling fit. Oh Yunho-yah, you are just too cute.
Trust Yunho to think of semen as a substitute for his very much loved milk. Such a cute kitten.
"What's so funny?" Yunho asked, confused.
"You."
Looking at Yunho's completely befuddled expression, Jaejoong only giggled louder.
"Jaejoongie?"
Willing himself to calm down, Jaejoong wiped the tears leaking from the corner of his eyes as he moved closer to him and cupped his face, pecking him on the lips. "I'm sorry baby. But your innocent declarations are just too cute. I couldn't help it."
Not really understanding the reason of Jaejoong's spazz attack, Yunho just smiled. "It's okay. As long as you're happy."
Jaejoong wrapped his arms around Yunho's neck and kissed him passionately. When they parted, Jaejoong proceeded to shower him with light-feather kisses. His mouth moved to the corner of Yunho's lips, to his cheek, his ear, his jaw then down to his neck.
However, while caressing the back of Yunho's nape, Jaejoong's good mood dropped when he was reminded of the existence of the mark carved under his skin. He knew of it from a few nights ago when he had asked Yunho what the ink on the back of his neck was about. The barcode on Yunho. No matter how human he looked, this one thing in his body, grafted literally inside him, will always outcast him from everybody else. If only he could, Jaejoong would tear that mark off him with his very hands.
Those bastards, marking Yunho like he was a fucking merchandise that they could just buy at the mall.
They had no right to put a tag on him. He was a human being dammit!
Sensing the sudden cold aura that Jaejoong was emitting, and knowing the reason for it, Yunho hugged him tight. "I'll be fine."
Jaejoong lowered his head and buried it on Yunho's neck, slumping against him. "I know. I'm sorry."
"I don't care about the world." Yunho said, rubbing his back. "I belong with you. And that's enough for me."
The words were reassuring and yet, he couldn't help but remain feeling angry and scared.
Because even after everything that happened, it didn't change the fact that Yunho was an experiment on the run from people that very much wanted him dead. The assurance that Yunho had given him of dispersing his creators still wasn't putting him at ease.
Especially now that he had completely embraced his feelings for him.
The very thought of them being separated, or for Yunho to be put in harm's way again, to be dragged by those monsters into their laboratories for termination... the mental image his mind was supplying alone was already crushing his heart.
But Jaejoong also knew, that he has to fight through such depressing thoughts, for Yunho's sake.
"My bottom burns." Yunho complained as they walked down the flight of stairs. Well, Jaejoong was walking while he was limping.
"The pain would subside soon baby. Give it a few minutes." Jaejoong gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "It's just a small price for feeling so much pleasure." He grinned and leaned in to whisper hotly into Yunho's ear. " Last night when we were doing it, you could barely stop moaning and begging. Think back to the sensations you felt then, this small pain's all worth it don't you think?"
Yunho's mind unceremoniously began to recount everything that his pleasure-clouded mind could remember. Of how beautiful Jaejoong looked, of how much pleasure he felt as Jaejoong kept ramming inside of him, the feel of his sweat-slicked skin against his as they rocked back and forth, or of how their taste mingled with each other's own as they kept kissing with tongues and teeth in a hot, wild frenzy. Yunho's body quivered, a moan escaping his throat as he felt his pants tighten at the mind-blowing visuals.
Swallowing thickly, Yunho held Jaejoong's hand tighter and resolutely nodded his head. "This pain is worth it."
Jaejoong grinned. "See? So just endure it for now."
Yunho's lips pursed. "It was great for you too right?"
"Of course baby." Jaejoong licked his lips, body shivering. "Feeling you around me, hearing your moans, it was incredible."
"Oh..." Yunho glanced at him. "Jaejoongie, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure. What is it?"
"When we do it again. Can I be inside you next time?"
The question nearly made him loose his footing. They stopped in their pace as he looked Yunho in the eye. "You want to?"
Yunho's answer was a vigorous nod. "Yeah. It felt so good for me, especially when you kept hitting that thing... I don't know what it was but it was soo.. mrghhmm!" Jaejoong chuckled at Yunho's passionate tone. "When you kept hitting that, I felt so much pleasure, it was driving me crazy. I never wanted it to stop. And... and you know I wanted to make you feel that good too."
Jaejoong felt his heart melt. Oh Yunho, his sweet little muffin. Always so eager to please him.
"Ok first." Jaejoong began, brushing his cheek lovingly. "That thing I kept hitting inside you. That's called a prostate baby."
"Prostate?"
"Uhuh. And the sensations you feel from that during sex, well at least to what I've been told, is just plainly beyond awesome."
Yunho agreed on that 100% percent. But then catching the meaning to what Jaejoong had said, he looked at him with curious eyes. "Only to what you've been told? Why?" Yunho frowned. "You've never done that before?"
"I've always been a top in my relationships. And well, I've done things to myself with toys but..." Jaejoong looked down at Yunho's groin, flushing red. He guessed he was being too obvious by now. "...it's still different with the real thing you know."
Yunho looked down at himself too, noticing the bulge in his tight leather jeans. He grinned. "I think I can help you there."
Jaejoong bit at his lip, mind already going through quite a lot of hot scenarios for their next night together, but right now they needed to go home and make breakfast first. With the rate things were going, they'll be needing a lot of strength in the future.
"Oh, I'll definitely be looking forward to it big boy." Jaejoong said with a leer and a wink. "But not right now okay?"
"Hmm okay... wait, Jaejoongie what did you mean by toys?" Yunho asked, blinking.
Almost instantly, a flash of Yunho and him doing sex games infiltrated his thoughts. Jaejoong moaned at the back of his throat. Oh they'll be needing a lot of strength alright. Especially when Yunho learned the world of roleplay and kinks.
Changmin had initially been very worried for his Junsu-hyung's whereabouts but when he called him early morning, telling him that he was with Yoochun in their apartment and that they 'did things', and was saying sorry about how he took off with his bike and that he was going to explain everything once he got home, all of Changmin's worries just flew out the window.
And now, he could only grin like a fool thinking of the success that he might walk in to once he goes through his apartment door.
It was a good thing he installed cameras in Junsu's room last night. He really was a genius for thinking ahead of time.
Since he had no ride for the previous evening, and two in the morning in Itaewon District wasn't exactly the safest place or hour, Changmin had deemed it best to just sleep at the club. The morning after when Jaejoong and Yunho went down from their rooms, he had been waiting for them, hoping that they could give him a lift, all the while trying to weasel out details on the sex.
Jaejoong would glare at him but fortunately Yunho was pretty damn descriptive. It kinda surprised him though, that he bottomed, since everything from the facial expressions to the way he stood reeked of possessive top material. And then there was the reminder of how fast and overall animal-like he had been last night when he nearly gave killed those old fucktards. Yunho still made him think weird ass conspiracy theories.
"Right over here Jaejoong-hyung." Changmin said, pointing at a light gray wall-painted apartment building.
Stepping on the brakes, Jaejoong parked the car right outside the younger man's place, scowling. "You should tell your friend that you don't approve of him taking your motorbike as he pleased. It's common courtesy to ask for permission first Min ah."
Changmin grinned, eyes glinting knowingly. "Well, I'm sure Junsu-hyung had a valid reason for taking off without me."
When he had told Jaejoong about his friend's name back at the club, it didn't miss Changmin's notice how his hyung seemed to tear up. And so later with sad eyes, Jaejoong told him about his deceased younger brother. It was then that Changmin was able to make sense why Yoochun was easily lured into bed by Junsu. He had the same name of his first love that he refused to let go.
"I still don't approve of what he did Min ah. And he had to seduce then drag my best friend back to your place on top of that." Jaejoong grumbled, looking upset. He couldn't make himself say the name. No matter how many Junsus there were in Korea, it still didn't take away the fact that the memories of his brother always brought him pain.
"Do you guys want to come in?" Changmin asked, already pulling the car door to the side.
Jaejoong sighed as Changmin got out and opened up the apartment gates. "Yeah, we'll follow you in a bit."
His taste, his scent, the realness of the body pressing up against him all threatened to make Yoochun loose the ability to breath.
"What's wrong?" Junsu asked, worried-filled eyes gazing into his own. "Yoochun ah?"
Yoochun's hands moved on their own accord. When he cupped the other's face in his hands, the solid confirmation that what he was touching beneath his fingertips was flesh and blood, the tears instantly poured on torrents down his cheeks. "Junsu..."
"Yes?"
But how could this be real? This couldn't be real. Yoochun's mind argued over his heart. Junsu died years ago and he had been living in misery ever since, always trying to hide the pain from Jaejoong, night after night plagued of dreams of Junsu's horrible death, of how much he failed to rescue him, as a friend, as his protector, from that burning empty house.
It had all just been a stupid dare between the children of the orphanage. Yoochun had never forgiven himself ever since. His hyung constantly felt guilt for that day, for the sole reason that he was supposed to be the eldest and he hadn't been able to stop Yoochun from doing something so stupid with the other children as they dragged Junsu along with it. Because Junsu had wanted to be a part of the fun, wanted to feel normal like everybody else. He had begged to play with them, wanting to have more friends and Yoochun had been too happy to give Junsu what he wanted. Oh how naive Yoochun had been at that time.
And when he realized his stupidity. Everything had been too late. Junsu's death was his fault. It had all been his fault.
And now he was being confronted with this person that wore Junsu's face, that possessed his voice and had the same sparkle in his eyes. As Yoochun stared at him, he was one hundred percent sure that he had finally lost it. And yet, he didn't care.
He can be crazy on the real world. But he had Junsu in this world and he was okay with that.
"Yoochun ah, what's wrong?" Junsu asked, wiping the tears off his cheeks.
Yoochun's answer was a broken sob. "I missed you so much!" Not wasting a moment's breath, he crushed his lips against Junsu's as tears continued to roll down his face. His arms snaked their way around Junsu's waist, pulling him closer, pressing their bodies flush. He shoved his tongue into his mouth and the moan that Junsu made, the realness of him, made him cry harder.
The bruising, desperate kiss lasted for more than a minute, their teeth and tongues clashing, colliding.
Junsu pulled back, gasping for breath. "Yoochun ah..." The reaction he got was confusing him so much. Why was Yoochun crying? Why was he kissing him like this? Like he loved him with all of his heart. Like he was someone he couldn't live without?
Before Junsu could say another word, Yoochun kissed him hard again.
His heart was erratic, mind in a whirl. Junsu pulled back to gasp, only for Yoochun to claim his lips one more time.
Junsu braced his arms on Yoochun's shoulders and attempted to push him off. "Yoochun ah - stop..."
"Junsu, Junsu, Junsu. You're here." Yoochun cut him off as he wept. "I missed you so much and I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Oh my god I'm sorry." He fell down to the floor in a sobbing heap as he clutched at Junsu's shirt, crying his heart out for him. "I'm sorry, I was an idiot. I couldn't save you Sunnie. I'll understand it if you don't love me anymore. But please don't push me away!"
Despite the confusion, Junsu sank to his knees and collected him into his arms. He didn't understand why Yoochun was suddenly spilling tears, or why he was sounding so desperate and devastated but what he did know, that seeing the other like this was also making his heart hurt. His sadness, those tears, Junsu wanted to take them all away. "Ssshh, it's okay. It's alright."
Yoochun sobbed harder in his embrace, his whole body shaking. "Junsu..."
Rubbing soothing circles on his back, Junsu began whispering words of assurance into his ear, taking into account the litany of words that Yoochun were spouting just now. "I'm here Yoochun ah, I'm not mad. Don't cry, you know I still love you so much."
Junsu bit at his lip, confused of how right it felt to say those words to him.
As he continued to softly murmur words along with the gentle rubs on his back, Yoochun's sobs eventually died down.
Pulling away, Yoochun wiped at his tears before hugging Junsu tight against him. "I love you. I love you forever Sunnie."
This feeling, of being loved and how much he was wanted, just like the many things that associated themselves with one Park Yoochun, Junsu couldn't help but feel like, he's experienced such emotions before. "Me too." he said, sinking in his embrace.
Without warning, the front door burst wide open. "Junsu-hyung! I'm home!"
Changmin's voice resounded against the walls and Yoochun's head instantly snapped upwards, head craning to the source of the noise. He looked back at Junsu and began to wonder why was Changmin in this version of his world of all people.
"Ah there you are... oh Yoochun-hyung...?" Changmin quickly squatted beside them in alarm. "Junsu-hyung what happened here?"
Yoochun could only blink back away the tears. What the hell? Since when did his Junsu and Changmin knew each other?
"I don't know, he suddenly began crying Changmin ah. Can you help me with him?" Junsu said, sounding distressed.
"Oh sure." he said, then shouted at the direction of the front door. "Yunho-hyung! Jaejoong-hyung! We're in the kitchen."
Heavy footfalls was heard and in approximately eight seconds, Yunho and Jaejoong appeared by the kitchen entrance.
In an instant Jaejoong froze in his tracks, eyes widening in shocked disbelief at what he was seeing.
Junsu looked up and instantly felt his lungs getting clogged at the sight of the newcomers.
His eyes particularly zeroed in on the taller man's face as flashes of his memories in the agency came flooding into the forefront of his mind. Junsu felt his blood run cold. The top experiment that he had sometimes watched inside the glass water tank when he was put in a deep sleep coming back from the outside world was standing right in front of him.
That day that the agency burned, he saw him killing their fellow experiments, the scientists one after the other before he had been knocked out cold by the serum that hit him on the neck. Junsu couldn't forget that face.
The face that could very well have been the one that put his creator, his father into a comatose state.
With the help of Changmin pulling him up from the floor, Yoochun glanced at Jaejoong then at Junsu again, looking lost.
Pin-dropping silence.
"Ummm, guys?" Changmin asked, confused with the staring contest.
Then to everyone's surprise, in a blur of speed, Junsu ran straight to Yunho, his eyes burning with rage. "You bastard!"
Quickly noticing the change in the other's eye color as it narrowed to golden slits, Yunho was just in time, to take out a dagger from his pocket's holster to block the knife that the other hybrid suddenly had in his hands that was about to strike at his heart.
