i have never had a collection quite that large in my itunes library - or any other, for that matter. but i have certainly had enough of a selection to know that same schizophrenic feeling of disjointed music... in making mixes and even just with having the whole collection on "random". and i also understand feeling as if new music is fleeting, and in general losing that feeling of total consumption/encompassment new music brought in 'days gone by
