Friday's thread is officially over with Loki temporarily freezing the vortex though individual threads inside of it may continue for as long as you'd all like it to.
Survivors, however, must now deal with the aftermath of cleaning of creature corpses, dealing with temperatures cold enough to leave the grass frozen and thick frost on all of the windows, and with how to protect themselves for when the vortex unfreezes and Loki loses the strength and the power to maintain the frost.
Now might be a good time to think up fortifications, to stock pile food, and to find loved ones.
